​Beginning in June, Bethany and Community Health Care, Inc. (CHC) will begin a strategic partnership to strengthen and expand mental health services in Clinton County. Over the next 90 days, select psychiatric and outpatient therapy services currently provided through Bethany’s subsidiary, Bridgeview Community Mental Health Center, will transition to CHC.

This partnership allows both organizations to focus more deeply on the individuals they serve best while ensuring the Clinton community continues to have strong access to behavioral health care.

Throughout the transition, Bethany and CHC will work closely together to coordinate care and maintain continuity of services for current clients. Patients will be receiving a letter with instructions on next steps. Individuals receiving services will be guided through the transition process with personalized support and referrals as needed. CHC intends to lease the Bridgeview building and services will be delivered at the same location. We are also pleased that Bridgeview staff members will have the opportunity to interview for employment with CHC to continue serving the community.

CHC, which provides medical, dental, and behavioral health services to over 50,000 patients throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois, will build upon its existing presence in Clinton by expanding outpatient mental health care access for area residents.
